LOVING...

ILLUSTRATORS

RENE GRUAU! Fabulously inspiring fashion illustrator, wonderful negative-space play in his fashion ads.

Camilla D'Errico. Her comic background pushes the surreal and imaginary in fantastic pop-colored and harajuku-like scenes.

Irana Douer. She's everywhere, right now. Fabulously beautiful color sets and unabashedly splitting story telling. wonderful line work.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Harpy, on FLICKR. A huge collection of sets of inspiring themes and nostalgic shots.

SOUND OFF: polyvore and weHEARTit

WHAT THE CRATE-SEE AWARD OF THE WEEK GOES TO:
POLYVORE and WEHEARIT users (some of them)

yes i do get inspired by the images on these sites but i get frustrated to no end by the fact that there is no required system of crediting the artists i would love to look up and learn more about.

it's amazing the way they can mainstream so many images and make them all so accessible but it SUCKS that both sites aren't the greatest at putting credit where it must go and making sure copyright laws are respected.

SOMEONE FIND THE HOMES OF THESE AMAZING PHOTOS FOR ME! =(
